I have been charter fishing in Miami Fl since 1966. Over the years I learned the high value of a fish swimming in the ocean over the low value of a dead fish.
I have been running Dusky boats from 25 to 33 years as charter boats targeting sailfish, tarpon, swordfish, mahi and everything else that swims around putting smiles on anglers faces and/or beauty on their walls.
My crew and I have tagged over a thousand sailfish, hundreds of mahi, dozens of tarpon and swordfish and we can’t wait for the next tagging opportunity. We have also spent thousands of hours promoting fisheries conservation and teaching people how to catch more fish.
It has been 48.5 years and still going strong.
Captain Bouncer Smith is experienced in every aspect of the sport of fishing, in South Florida as well as a variety of ports throughout North America, he has devoted his life to sharing fishing with others, through his radio shows, magazine articles, seminars, and on the water. Bouncer has been running boats out of South Florida since he was 19, working on them since he was 15. He shares his love of the ocean and fishing with children and adults from the novice fisherman to the tournament sportsfisherman. He loves all the excitement of catching bait to monster tarpon and marlin. He has been captain of many Tournament fishing teams and can arrange one of those opportunities for you, if you wish.
