This fish had a lot of scarring on both sides. My best guess is this fish was attacked by a seal and made it out alive or possible gill net involvement. The gill plates were both scarred and both sides of the tail had gashes. The fish fought like most Stripers of that size and swam off very strong. Not the prettiest fish but curious to see if these injuries heal or remain if this fish gets recaptured. -Greg
